Here are some photos from the meeting of European Educational Projects. The Spainsh partners presented our joint work (Rosario, Emilia and Ma Carmen, Francisco).
Photos from Estonian meeting (5.-13.04.2003)
The parts of our project are divided into steps and there are six of
Step one - self presentation, in other words "Who I am". It's where we write about ourselves in two languages (our native language and English) - name, age, a little about our families, hobbies. Our partners do the same, but in addition to English they use another international language - French.
Step two - the presentation of the class and the school, in other words "Where I study". It's where we describe our classes and school, draw pictures and add photos.
Step three - the presentation of the neighborhood, in other words "Where I live". It's were we describe our neighborhood, draw pictures and add photos. What are our neighborhood and nature alike and what the sight seeing that could interest our guests.
Step four - the presentation of our country, in other words "What's my country alike". It's where we describe our country and our home within it. The short history of Estonia.
Step five - customs and traditions, in other words "Our traditions". It's where we describe our traditional events - birthday celebration, Christmas, Jaanipäev (Midsummer Day) and other holidays worth celebrating. Some Estonian nathional dishes.
Step six - differences and similarities, in other words "What binds us together and what's different". It's where we try to find out what have in common and what's different based on all of in previous steps.
A nice collection of our descriptions and pictures, a CD and video and
a web site should be coming out when the project is finished. Surely we
should have more information about our partners in distant countries.
In our school the project is run by the principal Tõnu Erin
